As a small child I (Linda) was an animal fanatic and spent many weekends and
most of my holidays at my grandparents farm with all their animals, from rabbits
to horses. I started riding at the age of four and continued with horses for
many years.

Unfortuanately my
little brother was allergic to dogs, among other things, so I had to wait a
while for my wish, a dog of my own, to come true. I "borrowed" dogs every chance
I got and played with my toydogs.
During this time I
also read all books about dogs and
different breeds
that I could lay my
hands on and the day
after I finished
high school I
emptied my
bankaccount, took my
savings and bought
my first dog,
Mistily's Happy
Dream.
A bitch very aptly
named as this was a
big dream coming
true. Since that
moment it's been all
about dogs. Sassa
was a great
personality and we
had so much fun
together, trying
many different
activities with
mixed results, but
we both enjoyed it. |

When I moved from home I got me second springer,
Mistily's Waltzing
Matilda,
Busy.
In 1996 I met André. While André wasn't as fanatic
about animals as I was, there had been dogs in his family (a Cocker, a
Yorkshireterrier and a Malteser).
My two springerbitches took him by storm and soon he was as interested and
devoted as I. We bought our current house in 1998 and in 1999 we applied for our
kennelaffix, CHARLESCROFT. The year after, our first litter was born out of Ch
Mistily's Waltzing
Matilda. |

During the years we have met many
people, many which are close friends, with the same interest and passion for
dogs. The dogs for us is a way of living. Between year 2003 and 2008 I was the
editor for the official
breedclub magazine, "Springertidningen".
This was a great experience. But
in 2008, when our daughter was
2, I felt that I didn't have the
time to do the magazine justice
and I ended my editorship. When
you have several dogs at home
and a very active daughter there
isn't that much free time but we
both like to spend time with
friends and family when possible,
watch movies as well as just
spending a free day at home. We
also like to take resular trips
to England to visit friends and
dogshows. |

ABOUT OUR BREEDING |
| |
|
We breed very limited. Our
dogs are first and foremost
our familymembers. We only
breed when we are planning
to keep a puppy for
ourselves. We often only
have a litter every other
year or so. Because of this,
every litter is very
important to us. For us it's
important to know as much as
possible about the pedigrees
of the combinations we do. |

Little Hawk - April

To have a goal is a must in
breeding. Our goal is to
improve the breed and the
quality of the dogs that we
breed. We always aim for the
perfect dog (the one that
doesn't exist and probably
never will). The health and
temperament are the
essentials and a good
conformation according to
the breedstandard is also
important. |
| |
|
We invest a lot of time and
energy when we have a litter.
We spend a lot of time with
them during their first
weeks of life. We do
everything that we can for
them to be able to develope
to their full potential and
we want to give the puppies
the best possible start
together with their new
owners. We want to keep in
contact with our puppybyers
after the puppy moved from
us and we are happy to help
with anything as much as we
can. |

We think that the
breeder-puppybuyer relationship
should go both ways when it
comes to trusting each other.
Our puppies means a lot to us
and we have high demads on our
puppybuyers. We give full
support to everyone that buys a
puppy from us. |
